The main symptoms you are likely to experience are emotional imbalance and utter confusion. This may result in unexplainable mood swings. The most common feeling is a sense of being ungrounded or floating.

So what are the symptoms of spiritual awakening?

The symptoms do not last forever and they come and go.  They may last for a period of a few months to a couple of years depending on your souls evolution and how much karma you have to clear.

The subconscious mind forces us to establish what is real and what is not. In addition they have other symptoms such as the inability to focus, forgetfulness, or a feeling of being "lost" with no interest in everyday activities.

You may notice a significant increase in your intuition or start to have strange auditory or visual sensations including seeing auras. Many clients experience a heightened sense of awareness on all levels and may have out of body experiences.

Often during the awakening stage your ability to develop such skills as telepathy or empathy and ESP may increase dramatically. You may develop the ability to become clairvoyant, clairsentient or find the ability to intellectually shape shift.

The most common thing that people experience is a change in their sleep patterns. Whether they may have slept well before, they may suddenly start waking up in the middle of the night and then go back off again. Some people experience increased energy and feelings of an opening at the top of their head. Others may feel a sense of sadness and that they have some higher purpose in life.

Vivid dreams or lucid dreaming are extremely common. Some people may experience them in the forms of signs and symbols.

As a result in mood changes and sleep patterns people also notice that they are more accident prone or have a feeling of light headedness or dizzy. Associated feelings of numbness or tingling or palpitations may also accompany other bodily symptoms that come and go.

You start to notice things. Animal symbolism  becomes something you never perhaps noticed before. You may start the same animal one day after another whilst driving. Numbers are extremely common thing that people notice. They start to see things like 11:11 and 22:22 on digital clocks. It can become so common that from my own experience I wanted to buy a clock that just said the “time is now” LOL. People may have a sense that time is going faster than normal or that it is running out.

Often relationships with start to change or people will be drawn to you in the shape of people whom you may have “felt” you have met in past lives or met before. Vivid dreams or dreams of past lives or symbols may start to appear with a regular feeling of deja vu.

People may start to feel a difference in their eating habits. Foods they could tolerate before may suddenly cause them to react strongly too. For example alcohol. They may feel a loss of appetite and feel the need to change their eating habits. As a result in their change in eating habits they may notice a change in they body or weight. This is just your bodies way of coping with the emotional changes that are going on.

A change in vision is extremely common. People have reported having to have their prescription glasses go from one extreme to the other. Blurred vision is common. The blurriness that some people experience is often a sign of not being able to “see” things clearly. As your vision starts to change you may start to see things more vividly in more three dimensional or “different” way that you cannot easily explain.

People are able to sense higher dimensional beings and may become in a state of fear and confusion as the sense a difference in their spacial awareness. They become acutely aware of not being separate from themselves and the universe around them.

You may notice a change in the way you hear things. You may suddenly hear things more vividly or be able to separate out sounds that you did not notice before.

Physical symptoms are extremely common. People may experience them in “unexplained” bodily flu like symptoms or a feeling of numbness or tingling. They may suddenly feel hot and cold. Old childhood conditions may reappear as a result of old stuff reappearing.

Skills that you didn't realise you had will start to surface. If you have creative abilities such as painting, drawing, writing or music they will sudden appear as if out of nowhere! You may have amazing bursts of creative energy that come and go.

Since the messages you are receiving are for your highest purpose whether you believe in a god or higher self, most people start to do things they never dreamed possible. They may suddenly start considering doing jobs that they never thought of possibly doing. One client I worked with was running a business as a milk man then suddenly an opportunity came up totally out of the blue to purchase a funeral directors. The money seemed to appear out of nowhere from an old business deal. Despite having no training whatsoever, miraculously all of the people needed to run the business suddenly appeared. They are now successfully working as a funeral director doing a job they love.

Crying for no reason whatsoever is extremely coming. Mixed emotions between happy and sad often without any explanation whatsoever. Often this is old patterns resurfacing and your higher self allowing your to let go of emotions or relationships that no longer serve you.

Patterns of resurfacing issues appear one after another . For example, in relationships where you have met one person and ended a relationship, suddenly a “mirror image” of the same person comes along to replace them in a different body with a different face.

Often what happens is we are given an “amplified” versions of people and situations that we have been in before. Our vibrational energy is changing so fast at this time that we no longer resonate with that with no longer serves us. We are being sent a test to remind us what is no longer true, and what we no longer need in our lives. Often people just remain in victim mode at this point and see it as “why me” and go through a cycle of self destructive patterns and behaviours that prolong what is only an inevitable process of growth and positive change.

Once they start listening the messages the universe is sending them their issues about addictions, abundance, relationships that no longer serve them start to heal. Their ability to do a job they love, rather than one that they just feel the need to do, seems to miraculous show up in the form of “helpers” who are their to provide more healthy signposts for them to shatter the illusion of they life as it was.

Many people start to notice a change in their sexual habits. Perhaps old addictions start to appear or they may start to seek out that soul mate or twin flame relationship. If they have been stuck in negative bonding patterns they may start to look at different ways of relating to people . Conversely, current relationships may start to become difficult or break down.

As the sexual energy starts to change in the body and the emotions clear the body changes and we start to feel more younger. You may start to look for more meaning and purpose in relationships rather especially if you have been prone to sexual addiction in the past.

You feel an overwhelming desire to break free from old negative patterns of behaviour in your life. To free yourself from toxic relationships and look within yourself. Often people have a moment which is known as the “dark night of the soul” where everything becomes chaotic and confused.

People will appear in the form of “guides” with what appears like near perfect timing to step in and help just when things are really bad. For example when money is tight suddenly someone comes along and “coincidentally” pays back some money that is owed to you, or an opportunity turns up when you least expect it.

All of our selves start to resurface. Those lost bits of our selves that we have forgotten about that held negative beliefs about us start reminding us that we need to pay attention. In addition through our soul evolution and karmic relationships we scatter bits of ourselves and part of our souls become scattered or disconnected. We have this wholehearted feeling of wanting to become one with ourselves and others.

Most people will have an overwhelming need to search for meaning to their lives. They may start wanting to read books on spiritualism, metaphysics or start looking at things in different ways. Mo vies like “what the bleep” and a feeling of connecting to angels or other outside entities, including negative ones, just feels normal.  Many people are afraid of talking about it for fear that they may be seen as mad or different.

The “sense” of feeling that things are not right and that you are different takes up a lot of your time You may have an overwhelming sense of wanting to “open up” an become more authentic as you leave the mask of your old self behind.
