Are you a Weirdo ?

Have you ever thought you had a life's mission but was never quite sure what it was? 

Have you ever thought you were different or strange?

Have your gifts and intuition sometimes felt like they were driving you nuts ?

Were you born with the feeling that you didn't quite belong here ?

I was born in 1962 and throughout most of my childhood I the words “Feeling out of place” I don't fit” “ beam me up out of here” “I am a weirdo” were common everyday thoughts. There are many kinds of labels for people like us. I have had a number of different labels given to me including highly gifted, Empathic, weird, different, very clever, highly sensitive but strangely enough never crazy LOL

I had this constant feeling that I was on a mission and always in a rush to do "something" but wasn't quite sure what it was.  I remember also as a child thinking about UFO''s saying to myself once if "them up there come back" I didn't want them to forget me and I hoped I had a little "x" on my head so they wouldn't leave me behind.

Over the last couple of years I noticed a big shift in the energy on the planet as I had an interesting spiritual awakening and journey. I looked at the number of different symptoms that had been given to people who were as only I can describe it “not of this world”. Some people are called Indigos, Walk-ins, Crystals or Starseeds.

Others are Empaths or those who are completely out of balance are just plain energy sponges soaking up everything around them which is not healthy. An untrained empath can easily absorb and take on the feelings and symptoms of others just by being near them or even by speaking with them on the phone.  This is one of the reasons an empath feels anxiety when faced with crowds of people.  They may even be able to remotely pick up feelings including energy exchanged via email and computers. Without proper training understanding and awareness of what is happening we become like sponges soaking up negative energy and forget to  clean it out.

As a child I grew up thinking I had a mission but wasn't sure quite what it was. I felt like my body wasn't same as other peoples and suffered a number of gynaecological problems. Both of my children are near miracles according to the “western doctors”. I overcame an extremely life threatening illness and spend much of my life searching. I travelled all over the world before finally having my children.

Personally I am highly empathic and intuitive, and sensitive both to energy and people. I am extremely sensitive to electromagnetic energy. For many years I shut it down. It wasn't until much later in life I realised it was a gift rather than feeling like a misfit or a weirdo.

In my early years and having taken myself off to a number of different counsellors, psychotherapists and analysts because I thought there was something wrong with me. I finally got the all clear that I did not have any kind of diagnosable personality disorder which was very comforting but I ticked pretty much all of the traits of what I had considered myself to be just a weirdo

I already knew I was an empath but it wasn't until one day when I was looking for some answers and found a website on starseeds. I found I ticked all the boxes when it come to being an Indigo or Starseed. 

I have two very gorgeous creative children Laura and Lewis who are also empathic and have the same traits as myself. I have put a lot of energy into bringing out their true own potential and helping them shine and understand their gifts.

Often people like us have no-one to help us shine when we where growing up because they didn't understand who we were. 

Once we realise we are not misfits or weirdos, many of us go onto to do creative jobs and some become light workers and healers.

It is my mission to help and support fellow Indigos, starseeds, empath and other souls on their life's journey whatever course they want to take with passion and great big dose of colour and humour.  But if you call me up saying you have been abducted by aliens and implanted with things, and that the devil is out to get you and you have a lifelong history of schizophrenia and have forgotten to take you pills. I may not be able to help you and may politely refer you back to your GP.  And yes I did have that conversation with somone one.  As I said a good dose of humour always helps. 

And if the label fits as they say on celebrity big brother.  Yes "I am a weirdo - Get me out of here LOL"  But whatever label I put on myself or others choose to put on me I now life a happy fulfilling life and my favourite saying is I am perfectly imperfect just the way I am.

Starseed, Indigo Traits

WHY is the most common word in their vocabulary and the most common feeling amongst Indigos, Walk-ins and Starseeds is that they are here on a mission but many don’t remember what that is or how to go about it.

They are very often truth seekers wanting to seek out information and uncover the truth. Many who have been bought up in conventional religions my have an inner awareness that there are hidden agendas may have difficult accepting what is taught as truth by authorities and religious leaders. They also have an innate ability to differential between people who are authentic and those who are not.

Interestingly enough, purple or ultra violet is often their their favourite colour or see it in their dreams and their meditations. So I make no apologies for the website colour.

Are intelligent, though may not have had top grades or left school early to get out of the system. May have trouble focusing on assigned tasks and appear to have symptoms that mimic Attention Deficit Disorder. They may be rebellious at school and refuse to do homework but conversely can multi task when they focus their attention. Many find themselves in special schools. They have the ability to retain information that other people might take ages to recall talking only minutes to absorb information. They are usually able to speed read although their attention to detail is often quite poor especially when it comes to writing or spelling. Although many are are labelled Dyslexic they can be highly disciplined when properly motivated. They may have an unusual evolved awareness of how things work even though they don't always know how they do. Many know how to operate and trouble shoot with very little help and many will never consider picking up a manual to figure something out.

They may have trouble with rage and get frustrated with people who do not get to the point. They have a deep intolerance for stupidity and ignorance. They may be rebels with a cause who have trouble with the legal, government and educational systems which they view as ineffective. They may involve themselves in human or animal rights efforts, and feel like they would rather die and fight for their cause they watch a system that is broken. They may feel dissolutioned with what is considered “normal” 9-5 routine and have jobs which do not fit in with the norm. Males in particular do not like authority.

Are often highly creative, high functioning and may express this in sometimes unique and outrageous ways in the form of painting, writing, the arts, or music. They may be able invent games and software or compose music with little or not training. They may do very unusual interesting jobs that are unique and different and are often drawn to drama, theatre and comedy. The also have an usually good sense of humour which helps a lot when they have so many weird feelings going on inside of themselves. They are usually very charismatic personalities.

Have an unusual ability to heal. Often they come into healing as the wounded healer having experiences difficult childhoods. In addition to energy therapies some are able to heal through many different mediums including music, and sound, plants and many create new methods of healing that become ground breaking models of of healing. Most have the ability to do remote healing.

Many were born into situations that were physically, emotionally, and spiritually abusive. They may have suffered great hardships during their childhood including sexual and pysical abuse.  They may feel like there are nearing the end of a karmic life having cleared what may feel like lifetimes of karma having found ways of balancing their energies. Many have suffered from suicidal feelings in their teenage years and may have had feelings of hopelessness and depression, not necessarily from having damaged childhoods but from a feeling of being a misfit or different.

Often they may have been put on anti depressants to cope with their feelings of alienation which tends to only exasperate them. They may also have experimented with drugs and alcohol to “stuff” the sensations and feelings down. Conversely, they may a unique ability and second sight to spot the difference between positive and negative energy especially in people and have special intution when it comes to spotting dangerous people although they may have shut this ability down due to childhood trauma.

Are usually highly intuitive emotionally and emotionally empathic picking up on other peoples feelings which usually stars when they are young or well before their teens. This may appear as emotionally sensitive and crying at the drop of a hat. They may also be extremely psychic and develop clairvoyance or clairsentient abilities or ESP. Conversely they may also switch off these abilities without notice shutting them down because it scares people or because they are unable to control their empathy and become energy sponges. If they shut themselves down they may appear to others as being cold and aloof.

Sexually they are very expressive and inventive. Some become sexually celibate or reject sexuality with the intention of achieving more spiritual awareness. Many may explore alternative types of sexuality or need immense amounts of physical touching. May have problems with relationships as they have a high vibrational capacity for love, and their partners may feel uncomfortable. Many have an intense longing for a soul mate or twin flame but feel they can never find them.

As children many will have had invisible friends as their playmates or have talked about “other” people and be aware of parallel existences. Many believe they are in contact with deceased relatives and believe in Karma and re-incarnation. Past lives will be a recurring theme for them and they had experiences with spirit guides, angels and entities.

Some with have experiences of believing they have encountered alien entities of an extraterrestrial or multidimensional level or a being of light. (however this is also a sign of schizophrenia!) although the more rational of us believe that they have had experiences with other non dimensional beings which they cannot quite explain! Many have had out of body experiences and experienced astral travel.

Have extremely high levels of compassion and love nature and animals. Have a strong connection to nature in general and may feel the vibration of the earth as if it is in crisis. Many may prefer solitude and the company of animals to the company of people. They relate particularly well to children and the elderly.

Physical traits may include pain in the back of the neck, swollen joints, chronic sinusitis. Extreme sensitive to electromagnetic energy and equipment. Many will have suffered life threatening illnesses and overcome them often to the surprise of the western medical profession. They may have had a near death experience.

If you have experienced more than 90 percent of the above traits and are still reading then there is a good chance whether you are an Empath, Starseed, or Indigo it doesn't really matter what label people want to put on you.
